Alloy 20
Alloy 20 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum based stainless steel alloy, mostly developed for aggressive applications, involving sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid etc. It resists pitting and chloride ion corrosion and also solve stress corrosion cracking problems, better than stainless steel.
Industrial Processes Applications:
Alloy 20 valves are often used in high concentration acidic environments, particularly nitric and sulfuric acid.
• Sulfuric Acids
• Nitric Acids
• Phosphoric Acids
• Mixed Acids
• Sulfurous Acids
• Organic Acids
• Alkalis
• Salt Solutions
• Hydrogen Sulfide
Valve Applications
Alloy 20 valves serve many different applications in these industries:
• Chemical process
• Petrochemical
• Oil& Gas
• Metallurgy
• Mining
• Oil Refining
